I don't care, but voted Nashville with the Saros situation. Despite the performance of the team this year, I'm worried that anybody we play could beat us, that's just how I've been trained as a Flames fan.

I voted Nashville in case I decide to go to an away game.

Voted for Dallas with the assumption that Saros will be ok by playoff time. I think Dallas is just a one line team that will have trouble scoring, so if we can shut that line down, then we match up well against their other lines.

I think their goalie is the wildcard, with him being thrust into the number one job before he was primed to do so (with Bishop's untimely retirement). He may flourish or crack under the pressure. If Flames can set the tone in the first game and pump goals past him, I'm liking our chances with Dallas.

Of course, if Saros is injured and it's Rittich starting in the playoffs, then all bets are off. I'd rather have Nashville then.

I'll take who we get - it's bad juju to choose one over the other

I want the stars. Flames are 2-0-1 against them, and the stars just seem like a one line team this year.

Nashville has played the flames tough in every game. It's a really tight match up during the season.

It's annoying that the oilers have the easiest opponent, on paper, of the entire first round.

The top two lines for Dallas look better to me than what Nashville has.

It depends on which version of Jonathan Quick they see.

LA has been better than Dallas and Nashville even with half their team out...now they are healthy other than Poughty

I think the poll kinda summarizes my view. Before last night it was a tossup, and after last night Im leaning towards Nashville (for the intensity & Saros question mark), but either way, LFG its playoffs!!

Sure, there are goalies that have had great runs - every year. The issue is predicting who is going to do it this year.

There are tons of examples of goalies carrying a team in the playoffs. I just listed two.

Don't be a pedant.

I thought the Kings got the easiest opponent, so we'll see how that series plays out.

It was actually a red hot Bryzgalov. Flames chased Giguere out of the crease that series.
