The Flames lately have been winning the games they play well in and losing the games they play poorly in. Tonight they won a game as the 2nd best set of skaters on the ice.

Markstrom was huge, the finishers were opportunistic, and the set plays worked to perfection. Another huge 2 points.

Good win again in back to back games and outscoring two top teams 11-2!

Good game by the Flames D with goals by Hanifin, Kylington and Anderson.

Then the big hit by Nikita Zadarov as well as dragging Leafs off Markstrom. He's a solid player and fits in nicely on the Flames, much needed toughness.

Gaudreau and Tkachuk both +2 with an assist each, good to see some secondary scoring. I think that's coaching with Darryl getting the team ready for opponents with good game plans.

Andrew Mangiapane with his team leading 23 goal of the season.

Flames now getting close to having 4 20 goal scorers with another goal by Elias Lindholm tonight. He's a good player on his own as well and not just feeding off his linemates.

Good win.
