I have a condition where I can’t choke down a breakfast sandwich on a burger bun. 11 pm or later should be the burger bun law. For that reason, I’ve always avoided their breakfast sandwich. They will however fry you up some eggs and bacon for dine in, which is wicked if you’re out of town.

Comparatively, a quick search shows that there are 10 New York Fires in Calgary. There are 17 TacoTimes. Albeit, both of these are typically in malls.
It seems like there are options that would have made more sense than Chipotle or In-N-Out

Mucho Burrito and Carl's Jr would make more sense than Chipotle and In-n-Out for Calgary.

I absolutely love their chicken sandwich. Better than KFC's. Better than any other burger fast food restaurant that serves chicken sandwich (Popeye's and Chic-Fil-A excluded because I've never been to either one).
I also love the Flame thrower or Ultimate burgers.
My favorite item is ordering a family fries with cheese and bacon bits toppings.
Their onion rings are definitely better than A&W's.

I actually like A+W burgers though I don't each much fast food anymore. DQ used to have great fries. KFC's fries with gravy was awesome.
But I still think the best fast food burgers come from Harvey's (Is that even a thing anymore?).
Does A+W still do gorilla if you ask them nicely?

Totally forgot about the Big Crunch. And I 100% agree with this fry take, why are they so bad? How can you be so obviously last in such an easy category?

DQ wins out with the frozen treats.
I like Harveys the most for burgers, but they seem to be getting smaller.
Tried Popeyes recently and thought it was gross.

A&W - yes. So annoying. “We don’t murder our employees either!”
Subway - it also never comes off your skin and hair if you work there. And the smell will forever make you sick once you move on to other things.

Yeah, they just taste like old mashed potatoes.
I did forget about their bacon and eggs. That is such a great breakfast that's not much worse than Denny's for like a third the price.

Yeah, they nailed it with Blizzards when they came out 30 or so years ago. I made a special trip down for one this week, in fact. My wife and I told the kids we had to run into my office to grab something, but we just went to DQ, grabbed blizzards, and ate them in Fish Creek Park.
Dilly Bars have been getting smaller, though. Last one I bought didn't even have that curly Q thing. It was just like a hockey puck Dilly Bar.

DQ has something called the Royal Blizzard which has a center of the flavour you order in the middle of the Blizzard. I recommend not getting it, it's way too much.

I don't get it. Like if I order a Smarties Blizzard the center of it is a mass of Smarties?

I don't know about the smartie one, I tried the Reese one and it was like a blob of peanut butter type pseudo fudge in the middle. It was way over the top.
edit: it looks like they only have Reese and Oreo flavours for the Royal Blizzard.

A and W Habanero Chicken burger is pretty tasty although I think that's all attributable to the sauce.
The crazy thing with that place though is the price. I can't believe that a meal with a drink and rings is pushing 15 bucks.

I recommend you try the Big Mary at Mary Browns- it's awesome!
If you want to enjoy it even more, try it on a Monday when it's only $3.99!
