Dude has frying pans for hands.
Prediction: Flames will trade too many futures for Pageau, then overpay him on an extension based on his current career year.
Because that’s how teams stay mediocre.

What exactly is the flames identity? We’re slow, we’re small, we’re not good at the possession/cycle game, we can’t score off the rush, we’re not good at shutting teams down. I just wish I knew what it is we excel at this year, because it’s starting to look like a type of mismatched players that are destined to be shipped out when the organization finally decides what they do want to adapt as an identity.
Sorry for the depressed rant, I’m probably just being overly negative

When players can't hit the net, or their prime shots attempts require very little effort from the goalender, any system will look like Gulutzan hockey.
