That's a downgrade.
Neal and Ball both out? Both traded?

Neal and Ball to Edmonton for Quinn and McDavid. Worth it?

What if it included Principe as a salary dump. Maybe. Remenda? No way.

They'd better add a first round to the deal to make it barely palatable.

Pretty sure Edmonton is on Ball's NTC list.

Loubo though... Doink! Some kinda save!

For whatever reason some players just feast on the Flames and Getzlaf and Benn are first to come to mind. Seems like every time the Flames play the Stars Benn is a factor.

Wouldn't we have beat the Stars last game if it wasn't for Smith's stinkers?

Rittich was in net. Smith had won a game and won 5 in a row afterwards.

Shaddup, you with your facts. You're raining on the Official Fan Narrative!
Smith let in five stinkers that game. Says so in Pravda.

I appreciate Wills as a broadcaster. Good attention to detail, good pacing with his speech. I will also say I'm more of a traditional guy and like hearing one loud "SCOOOOORES!" instead of others like Rick Ball mixing it up with stuff like "They score on the rebound!" or "so and so jams it in!". It's like dude... I'm already out of my seat and highfiving friends by the time you're halfway done your overly rushed sentence. Maybe it's a TV thing?
Willsy isn't perfect either, he gets ####ing annoying when he keeps relentlessly pushing Mike Smith as a starter. "Well, you know, I understand Rittich has the stats, but the Flames need Mike Smith to be their number one going forward." Nothing more substantial other than "established body of work" to support this angle. Late last week it was "Well, even if he's playing badly the Flames are still winning". Wtf.
Every single ####ing Flames roundtable on F960 it's brought up when goalies are mentioned. You can also tell that Pinder is getting real tired of it.
If he does that once on the broadcast tonight, just ONCE, on mute you go Willsy, and off mute you go, Loubo.

Right, right. Yeah, that was one of the few games Rittich didn't look great, although the Team D that game was brutal too.
It changes tonight! I honestly feel the Flames should be a better team without Neal, which is kind of sad....
I'm happy Czarnik is getting a shot on the second line too, I think if he's gonna be in the NHL, it has to be in the top 6.

I agree, I really don't like his persona/demeanor but I think he does a pretty good job with the play by play.

Rittich was in net. The Stars scored a flukey deflection goal, a backdoor PP tapin, a Spezza snipe from the slot, and a Seguin snipe from the slot.

Totally gonna listen to Loubo, I really miss him on TV. Sorry to hear about Rick Ball's voice though---it's going around my office as well---and I hope Neal has a restful game off.
GFG! Third nightshift in a row so I hope it's an exciting game and that I get to frighten my colleagues multiple times to keep us all awake.

Hopefully tonight he will be a Bennafactor to the Flames...couple of giveaways, a penalty and a flub on a wide open net!

Hahaha it’s so true. Pinder is trying so hard every time to not just call him an idiot.
It is an incredible take at this point you almost have to applaud his effort and determination. But I will certainly be putting him on mute within minutes as well
