Someone was talking about how this is the best chance Bennett will get to shine..... I was thinking the same thing until I saw that Brouwer earned the spot with the 2 other best players in the lineup.
This should also be one of Smiths last games. I get Gillies is most likely not in due to a travel day but if why ride Smith any harder in meaningless games when we should be seeing if Gillies can take things to a new level.

I am watching because it will create a ton of headlines. The flames are expected to be blown out which means they will win and confuse the hell out of every flames fan.
If they lose, itll be 50-10 shots for the flames but 8 of the 10 Kings shots will be give and go one timers while the flames will have 48 stop with the puck, 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi, guys set up along the boards, no traffic and shoot.

I think Smith should be done for the season. He hasn't been the same since getting injured and I'm not sure that he has fully recovered yet. These games are meaningless so he should be sitting on the bench.
I don't understand the management decision of swapping Rittich/Gillies. If the Heat want Rittich for a playoff run he could have played tonight in LA and stayed in California for the Heat's game on Wednesday. Gillies could have joined the team after the game tonight.
