Brouwer has been pretty great recently. Many here were saying last game was his best as a Flame.

I haven't looked at the advanced stats; but if anything had been the cause of our losses over the last 6 games, it's been the ineffective powerplay and losing the lead in the 3rd period.
Doesn't seem like changing the 3rd line centre and #6 D-man is going to alter that, my outlook for tonight's game is not optimistic.

Brouwer has looked much better lately, of course, the rest of that line has looked worse.
The fourth line has looked better as well since Hathaway has been on it.

I don't really care what the lineup is; just as long as it gets the W finally. The previous lineup was unable to do that for six games.

I will absolutely tell you with a straight face that both Stajan and Brouwer have been much better than Jankowski and Bennett over the last handful of games. It's not like the latter duo has been setting the bar particularly high, but the veterans know how to work through the dog days of January/February better than the young kids.

Would've liked to see Stone sit out for a game instead of Kulak. I think he needs a game off. He's been terrible ever since getting embarrassed by Jesse Puljijarvi in the Oilers game.
