It's not an ad if the product is made by Reebok. I don't see what's so hard to understand about that.

I don't get this no risk argument we hear so often with bringing in players. Whenever you bring in new players, especially ones with known off and/or on-ice issues there's always a risk. I think it's increased whenever you're dealing with a young team as well. I'd be wary that an NHL imposed order of treatment for a month and a half is enough to strengthen a guy out. I'd also wonder if he had made significant progress, why the Canadians wouldn't have stuck by him. For his sake hopefully i'm wrong, but I wouldn't bet on it. The Oilers are taking a huge risk.

Of course it's an ad. The NHL sells a jersey license periodically, and one of the rights that comes with it is the right of the licensee to display its name/logo on NHL jerseys, advertising the company.

I don't think he ever had stretches of games but there were definitely times where you would say now that is what everyone is waiting for. He would string together a few shifts that were fantastic, almost dominate. Then, you would completely forget he was in the game.

I have never seen him good for more than few games and when he was bad he was very bad. Not too worried about him helping Edmonton. Another meathead for a team full of meatheads.

I really hope that Kassian has put his troubles behind him. Hopefully this is a new chapter in his life and he succeeds.

With that being said, whenever I watch him play I see a guy with very low IQ. He can be an effective player when he is driving the net hard. I just don't see much (if any) of an upgrade for the Oilers.

With that being said, this will now force Calgary to dress Bollig. Gazdic + Kassian = Engelland + Bollig. That is about the only way this will affect Calgary I think. Let's see how he does on the Condors first.

They got rid of Kassian. They already won.

It would be terrific for Scrivens to post a shutout against the Panthers.

Haha Cali. At first I was confused like "why would this poster not want Scrivezina to post a shutout? That would be salt in the Oil wounds? They are both eastern teams"

Then I saw the username.
