I would guess that it's Muslim related, but that doesn't make it inappropriate. I work with Muslims that are personal friends, rationally a globally impactful display of violence like this is going to stem from one of the more powerful extremist groups. No need to be PC to a fault, if any of our Muslim friends start to be persecuted (as they have been before) then it's time to get in an uproar. The situation just needs to end, 100 people being held hostage, a much bigger issue than any small biases shown here.
Wholeheartedly agree, and I suppose addressing it is just adding to the noise, but there's no ####ing way I'm not going to point out people's racist bull####.

It would be absolutely shocking if this wasn't ISIS. This took a lot of resources

The expert on BBC was saying that Hezbollah or another large terrorist group could be responsible but it is very likely ISIS given the details

Are the attacks over and they are counting bodies or is this thing ongoing? I can't tell from the reports.

That's a big "if", this early in the game.

Also, all reports seem to be that the perpetrators are still out there, so it's hard to say.

Now another report in a shopping centre.

Why does France seem to get so many of these deadly attacks? They're the middle of western Europe, far from ISIS, yet this isn't even a year since the Charlie Hebdo attack. Is ISIS specifically targeting France for some reason, or is their security weaker compared to other Europe powers like the UK or Germany?

Charlie Hebdo was a targeted attack for the comics. This is different.

France has the highest Muslim population in Europe. More potential jihadists.

I have never met anyone who wanted to murder anyone actually, however I know that murders do happen. In this case it is a terrorist attack on a country that has recently been attacked by Islamic terrorists. it isn't as though it is out of the realm of possibilities for this to be connected to people from the same background, in fact it is probable.

No one here blames the average Muslim for these actions, I think that most people are logical enough to realize these are the actions of a slim minority.
