Unsigned 2013 CHL draft picks. Update: Flames elect not to sign Eric Roy

Roy is still very much a gamble, could be teams want to see what is available in the later rounds before trading a pick for him.

If by the time they get to the 6th or 7th round, they think Roy is a better option than what is available then they might use a pick on him, but until the draft plays out they just don't know.

I think it is more likely he gets undrafted and gets multiple AHL offers though.

The predators traded for Jaynen Rissling last year prior to Washington not signing him and letting him go back into the draft. Was only a 7th in return but believe this is an instance where a deal like this has happened.

Flames also traded for Keith Seabrook for what ended up to be a 7th.

Capitals were not going to sign him because of their depth in the AHL at the time.
