Flames had no gas in the third period. They looked tired and a step behind the Nucks players.

Good start, but Canucks generated way more offence and sustained pressure. Had some chances to get that second goal, but couldn't convert. Wasted an excellent game by Hiller.

Top line with pretty much nothing generated offensively 5-5, and only slightly better on the powerplay. Johnny drew the one penalty but WAY too many turnovers.

Miller was solid but nothing spectacular. Baertschi was a non-factor.

Let's do it at home boys... GFG!

Its that old cliché that rings so true.

Your best players need to be your best players.

Wasn't the case what-so-ever in this one. Hudler/Monahan were awful and even Gaudreau was a give away machine late.

Cant win like that most nights.

Get em Saturday.

its getting old, you predicted them missing the playoffs after every loss...besides you don't even have the year right

Not in the slightest way worried.

Give them hope and take it away. That's always been the Flames way this year.

In my opinion Backlund was our best forward by far. It's unfortunate the guys wasted such an incredible effort from Hiller...

Despite the handful of PP points from our top line, they have been awful except for a few flashes of brilliance from Gaudreau. They better get it together and soon because 5 on 5, they are getting dominated, especially by the Sedin line.

Regroup and come out flying on Saturday. I'm surprised Ferland only got 11:05 of ice time. He had 7 hits in 11 minutes...

We will play much better at home. Sea of red will get us through on Saturday. Top line needs to be better.

Really, if that's the best the Canucks can put up when their backs are against the wall then I don't really expect them to get out of game 6.

Calgary has this at home, even if I preferred they finished it off and got some rest.

The best part about tuning out CP and focusing on the game is you don't get drown in the pessimism that mires what was a pretty honest effort in an elimination game. Come out with the energy of the Saddledome crowd and a bit of a step up and the Flames are looking at getting out of the first round for only the second time in 26 years.

Go Flames Go!!

Wow just a lack of effort. Lost at our own game of being out worked.

First game I actually noticed the crowd for the nucks. Gave that push they needed.

We need to bring it to the dome on Sat and give the boys the energy I they need to put Van away

I blame Chicago Deep Dish for putting tomatoes on my pizza, when I clearly specified NO TOMATOES!

I truly didn't expect them to win. Canucks played desperate and the Flames played scared.

Two thirds of the top line appear injured and one is trying too hard.
Not sure why Ferland hardly played. Took a knock perhaps?

Whatever. It's one game.

I'm certain that the Flames bounce back next game. I fully expect them to finish it at the dome,

Keep the faith people.
