I watch all games on center ice, so I never have a clue what channel the game is actually on for all of you.

This upcoming Tuesday (due to baseball) will be the third and final time this season that a Flames national game will be on Sportsnet 360. There could be times where a Flames national game may start on this channel. This may happen due to the first game of a doubleheader running late or another live sporting event running late.
Here is the link to the "What channel" thread, http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=139977

So since Jones is injured already does that mean one of the boys gets a call up? Granlund? Ferland? Baertschi?

Also since Jones and Hudler out, at least Johnny escapes a scratch and hope he can capitalize on it and get some confidence going.

33 goals in 68 games is a top line scorer without a shadow of a doubt. Oshie maybe not, but 60 points is still decent for a top line player. That's more than anyone on Calgary last year

The 360 HD channel is a subscription - I thought the SD channel was free.

Bouwmeester scored four stinkin' goals last season. He's the same player now as he was under Brent Sutter. I'll grant that his assist totals are a little better in St. Louis, but I chalk that up to playing on a much better hockey team. The guy simply isn't a difference maker, but on a deep team like the Blues, he doesn't have to be.

Not expecting much tonight, just hope the boys put in a good effort and don't get killed. It'd be nice to see Johnny and Mony score. 4-2 Blues unfortunately.

This a pet peeve of mine.
I am always irritated when people ridicule association in sports. Especially if they attach that arrogance to their tone and ask something ridiculous such as how many goals did you score?
As a Canadian I say We won WW2, but I never fired a shot.
As a human, I say We put a man on the moon, but I have never worked for NASA
As a Flames fan I absolutely can say We beat the Oilers the other night.
I purchase team merchandise. I attend the odd game. I am emotionally invested in how the Flames do. I have every right to possessive association.

My wife is not yet aware that "having a night, just the two of us" actually means "having a night, watching the hockey game beside me."

It's not possessive association though, it's inclusive. Semantically, there's a very large difference
And Textcritic isn't arrogant, he's just highfalutin. He always writes like that.
It's really semantics, but does infer a level of entitlement to decisions and results, so it's not all semantics. Especially when discussing money.
Your examples are not accurate either. You are Canadian by definition. You are also human by definition.
Your level of attachment and purchasing power doesn't entitle you to any results or decisions.

FWIW I had not intended to call Textcritic arrogant. I usually enjoy his "highfalutin" posts. The example I gave of arrogance was not one Textcritic had used.
Your opening line in response (in bold) is incomplete or unclear. Inclusive of what?
My examples are valid. Being human by definition does not entitle me to any say in American (or Soviet, or even Canadian) space programs. It is only the reason by which we can associate.
You are correct that my level of attachment and purchasing power doesn't entitle me to any results or decisions. I never claimed it did, but it does entitle me to an interest and to voice my opinion on our [mutual interest] team.
Edit - sorry for the cont. thread derail. Truce.
GO FLAMES GO. Going to be a difficult one tonight.
