With maybe 1 kid winning a spot, he can probably swing it, but if 3 or 4 kids beat out vets there is no way he can change over 1/4 to 1/3 of the forward contracts to get the young guys playing. You just cant move contracts that easily.
At some point it doesnt matter who plays better. Contract status will determine who starts where.

Yeah because the Calgary Flames, NHL, Rogers or any other rightsholders are going to come after CalgaryPuck for a member posting a link to an "illegal" stream right? You do know that you have to host the stream for any liability correct ?
But whatever it those are the rules then they're the rules. I'm not paying for any part of this website so not like I have much of a say in things. Just saying my opinion. If you want me to edit this post because I am voicing an opinion against the rules of this website then let me know.

No need to be a jerk. He has his rules, and doesn't want to piss off the Flames, and that's completely fine.

I kind of agree with you, especially considering what reddit.com/r/hockey gets away with routinely. That said, the owners of this site have a right to try to not get sued. It's really just a privilege to have a place like this to talk hockey and I think we should respect the decisions of the owners of CP.

That doesn't stop them from trying, this site has been been sued before for a similar thing that users posted. Those organizations have deeper pockets than a fan site.

Just thought I'd post a pic from last night of our two favorite poster boy Canucks, probably colluding on how to be a bigger d-bag.

My view on the whole stream policy is that you have to respect what rules the owners set in place. But on the flip side, if you can't find a stream without asking around on a forum, you don't deserve to use the internet.

SN1 is not on Shaw basic cable. It is part of the HD basic package. I don't know if it's on UHF.

Suppose I could get off my lazy butt and actually check
Edit: no dice. Great. Hockey is the only reason I even have cable and I don't get the channel? FFS

Going to be a tough year.
So tired of paying Shaw for games I don't have tickets for. Plus the 40 ish
others. Time to explore other options.
