Flames made a piss poor deal for Dion but still at 7 million he is one of the worst players/contracts in the league. They are never gonna win with him as #1 and they are stuck with him

At least we still have a serviceable Stajan. They have damaged goods. Phaneuf is a train wreck.

Make him a forward already.

So much potential in Dion when he first came into the league. His ceiling was probably vastly miscalculated.

I think Reimer is clearly void of confidence right now which explains his horrible first periods and his play once the other team scores. And this has a lot to do with Carlyle and his short-sighted comments slagging Reimer after a reasonably good performance.

Obviously doesn't help when Toronto's players play horribly in front of him.

I think Reimer will go elsewhere in the off season and play really well there next year, guy gets hung out to dry every night he really is a decent tender

Second intermission
Pacioretty and Gionta scored in the second period to make it 3-0 Habs!
The Senators lead 3-2. Spezza gets the goal and Zuccarello gets both goals for the Rangers.
The Devils have a 2-1 lead, the go ahead goal was scored in Zidlickian fashion.

The Stars now lead 4-2.

The Penguins are in cruise control now and mailing it in. They are locked into second place in the eastern conference.

If it turns out that it just isnt working, then you have to do something. Keeping a discontented player around is bad for the team, bad for the market and bad for the pocketbook.

I'm not saying that Kane is a bad player or a bad person or that Winnipeg is a bad team or a bad market, but sometimes people and places just dont fit.

Although Winnipeg is a miserable place.
I might have worded it wrong but I think in hockey sense it will be a bad deal

guys with his size/speed/hands are hard to come by, plus he has a 5.25m cap hit the next 4 seasons after this

plus with some of the ridiculous coverage winnipeg press have given him I dont see how you get fair value

A pair of quick goals by the Red Wings has made it 3-2 Habs. Datsyuk on the power play and 36 seconds later, Glendenning scores.

The Stars are now leading 5-2 and the Minnesota is going wild on the Penguins, 4-0 now.

Not sure if Columbus will be able to hold on to that final position.

The Habs are shell shocked. Kronwall scores on the power play to tie the game 3-3. Price was screened. Bouillon took a bad hooking penalty. What a game! Too bad viewers west of Manitoba cannot see this game.
