Monahan isn't going to catch MacKinnon in the rookie scoring race but at least he's keeping up. Kid is going to be spectacular in the coming years.
Monahan hasn't even caught up to Hertl (who has 25 less games) yet, obviously he's not going to catch MacKinnon. The kid needs to start getting some assists, if he had more he'd be in the Calder conversation still.
