Only natural right winger for trade? Please, stop trading Stemper.

Trade Cammalleri, Jackman, sign&trade Butler etc

Who the #### wished for Shane O'Brien then?

Agreed.

He is streaky, but from when he first came into the league I always thought he would be a good Flame.

MY guess is that there will be at least a 10 game streak next year where his offence carries the team.

No problem with Raymond, guy has wheels, and has a couple productive seasons under his belt.

Plus it think that adding him means someone else is shipping out. Curious as to what the fall out is.

Do not want. Living in BC I have watched this guy play a lot. He is not a valuable player. Not skilled enough to play top 6, no where near strong enough to play third line roles. Sure he is fast, but could go into the corner with eggs in his pockets and come out in tacked. We don't need more speed in the top 6, we need size.

Stempniak isn't untouchable but hard to imagine being moved when he and Jones are the only set RH forwards. Really makes you notice the serious deficit we have in the RH pool now that we've touched on the centres.

Not exactly surprising. This is a move that most people probably saw coming.

Baertschi, Cammy, Glencross, Stempniak, Hudler, Jones, Galiardi, and now Raymond. Once again the team is loaded with top 9 wingers, but now with Knight and possibly Monahan there may not be any room to 'fudge' it by moving some guys to center.

Wonder if this means they don't expect Cammy and Stemps to be in the starting lineup?

Great signing. These are the perfect type of players to have during a rebuild, and will be important pieces to the bottom 6 once we get a few more young players to build our top line and defense around. I believe he is pretty slick in the shootout as well which will be nice.

3) If we bring him in just to trade someone else, is the overall value going to be worth it? They are going to get a lot more for Cammi or Stempniak at the deadline rather than a summer trade. I don't think what Raymond brings is more than what holding onto Cammi or Stempniak would bring in trade at the deadline.
i think horak gets traded as part of a larger package. If feaster is able to take advantage of a team in cap trouble, i believe the deal will need to involve a horak/reinhart type player.

I didn't mind Raymond on the Canucks, but he plays too much of a perimeter game. He was successful when he would use his speed and take the puck to the net. He gets away from that though and starts taking long wrist shots from just inside the blue line.

I hope he can take his game to another level, or a lot of fans will be very frustrated with this guy. Always waiting for him to step it up, but he just doesn't have the jam to do it.

Lots and lots of speed, though. I like how fast this team will be next year.

It's probably going to be a 1-2 year deal for cheap.

Not concerned about this at all if true. Young and NHL experienced. Faster than any roster player from 2013.

I really think Feaster should be focusing on the Flyers and their cap jail. To me, Brayden Schenn is a guy who could be moved given their existing depth at centre with Lecavalier, Giroux (who needs to re-sign), and Couturier. Brayden Schenn is schedule for a $3 million cap hit this year, and his brother Luke is another $3.5 million. I think there's a deal there to be made. Maybe a Backlund, Gaudreau, Butler for the Schenns type of deal. Luke is pretty useless and is making too much money, so the Flames would be taking a hit on that, but that's the cost of getting a young centre like Brayden. Flyers save a tonne of money there and pick up a good young prospect in Gaudreau.
I would prefer to hold on to Gaudreau but if he were to be trade, I rather packing him for Seguin (more proven).

I think that Feaster is stockpiling players to take advantage of teams with cap issues.
