Not sure if I just picked this up on my own, but did he seem to be skirting around the fact that this ownership would be willing to spend to the cap, and teams will be looking to dump salaries they can no longer afford.. I wouldn't be opposed to picking up another teams bad contract with a throw in pick (2nd or 3rd) as long as the term wasn't over 2 years.

What kind of prevention is there in the CBA for these type of deals? The Flames would have to throw back something around the same value? Maybe a Cammalleri or Sarich or someone on an expiring contract..

Those beautiful men from Carolina have taken the leads in New York for those not in the OOT.

If you can trade a draft pick for an established young player already in the league, I think you do it, carefully versus boldly.

Oh, when mentioning organizational needs the first thing he brought up was that our D needs a major improvement.

No kidding. We haven't had a legitimately strong defense since Playfair was coach

I'd love to see Cundari play on the wing.

No thanks, we don't need the hype machine ruining potentially good young players. I think that Oil Change is probably contributing to the lazy attitude in Edmonton.

Barkov? Are we getting close to Barkov score wise?

I meant that the "Oil Change" remark had absolutely nothing to do with bringing people back.

We might see a reverse Stempniak for Langkow trade where we send a lower $ contract for a high $ contract.

This Blues feed is approximately a million times better on Gamecentre tonight. In picture quality... broadcasters as well.

I amazed at the drama some people can generate from a fairly vanilla and predictable interview.

Bouwmeester looks like he fits in very well with the Blues system.
