It's one of those things that after a couple of days will die down and as a fan you have to contemplate if Feaster being fired because of the events of the last 24 hours is a knee-jerk reaction. Although I started the thread I also realize that I don't know exactly how things went down and who was making the ultimate decisions. I can say that I didn't care for his response which IMO is pretty terse considering the of the magnitude of disaster that was averted. The 2012/2013 Calgary Flames have a newspaper man as President and a lawyer as GM. Is it really any wonder why the team is where they are currently at? This organization badly needs a hockey man in charge and that means Jay will have to step aside as a lawyer he's got the talking part down about a plan but all the moves we have seen this season have been reactionary which tells me the plan is either flawed or that the plan is to take it day by day. Either way it's not the proper way to run a hockey club.
Bottom line is that cheering for this team is getting exhausting and something has to change as the frustration level amongst fans is growing. Someone said earlier that we don't make a difference complaining but I don't buy that as the Flames are plugged in like any proper organization that keeps tabs on the pulse of the fans. The fan frustration isn't limited to CP as I know season ticket holders and other fans who all feel the same way in fact I don't know any fans that are happy with the direction. If Ken King is smart he would know that butts in seats today don't guarantee butts in seats tomorrow and I know he's no dummy.

So because he missed some CBA fine print/details it means he will now trade our 1st overall for a bag of pucks??
I understand the concern about the close call, but come on. It doesnt mean he will now automatically make idiot personnel decisions.
As was said in another thread, there is enough drama in here to match a junior high dance.

Unless you get all of CP and then some to email him, there's really no point. Hell, I'd like to see him gone, but I'd much much rather see KK leave if I had to chose between the two.

Someone had his email I remember a lot of us emailed complaining when he wanted to turn Flames Central into a Canuck spot for their run awhile back.
