The Substance is absolutely ####ing wild. Just when you think it has peaked, it peaks again. Over and over. So many f'd up scenes and the sound is amazing on home theatre. Best I've heard in a film in a long long time. Great film.

The cinematography is incredible too. I love that its beauty contrasts against the body horror.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with Ryan Reynolds, I just don't find him funny at all.
I liked Deadpool #1 for the most part, I tried watching #2 a couple times but couldn't get through it. The latest fiasco is as bad as Thor Love and Thunder, just a joke of a movie. Maybe it gets better, I don't know, but I couldn't make it through 30 minutes of either of those movies and I love Wolverine otherwise. Deadpool's over the top sexually charged zingers might be funny here and there but when they are cranking them out 10 per minute it's just cringe worthy. Marvel used to be a guaranteed hit movie but that franchise is going down like the Titanic and it's a shame.
Hundreds of Beavers was about 105 minutes. It got somewhat funny in the last 15 minutes or so.
Yet another incredibly overhyped indie festival darling. Would have been okay as a short film.
It's old cartoons done as partial live action, but not like in a good way. It's not as funny, it's not as imaginative, often not even as dark, the soundtrack is the bad version of what you'd imagine that sounds like, every joke is repeated for too long, and there are far, far too few gags that aren't already done to death.
If you think you can watch the trailer for 100+ minutes, this is for you. Other than that, can not recommend. Yet again, not one of the good "odd and unusual" indie films, I was so bored that I had to fast forward a bunch just to make it through the whole thing.
Some people find this incredibly funny, and humor is subjective so there's that. What it's not is interesting, original, or something anyone needs to see for any other reason than maybe some laughs.

The new Deadpool movie made a gazillion dollars at the box office, and they just announced that Spider-Man 4 with Tom Holland begins filming soon. I think Marvel will probably be just fine.
Things I didn't see coming: Smile 2, sequel to one of the most unspectacular & run of the mill horrors being one of the best things I've seen in years from the genre.
Really goes for the jugular and full tilt into the dread. I kind of love that. Feels like that's what 'horror' is supposed to be.

Probably my favourite movie this year. I went to a super late show on a thursday night 3-4 weeks after it came out was the only person in the theatre. couldnt stop laughing the last 15 minutes
Just an absurdly self-indulgent movie. As ridiculous as the trailer makes it look and more... yet the cinematography, locations, set design, and wardrobe are all top notch.

Honestly all the Marvel movies are the cinematic equivalent of pulp fiction

I have heard so many people say Deadpool 3 is the best ever, but I couldn't even finish it. It bored me to death and my brother told me it was terrible but I assumed he was being dramatic. I will probably try again at some point but i'm not optimistic

I actually did try it twice, dude. Walked out the first time just because I got bored. Then I heard how awesome it was, so I went back for round 2. Nope, still terrible.
It's these GD basic bitches that jizz all over the place whenever another dumb superhero movie comes out. They make the dumbest stuff sound rad, so you go in kind of hyped. They're all the same, though. Just terrible.
We need to shove these nerds back in the corner with their comic books and get them out of the movie business. They're ruining everything.

Deadpool & Wolverine is peak fan-service and inside jokes, and it was sold as such pretty much all the way back to the first teaser with Reynolds and Jackman.
If you weren't a fan of those movies and the Fox Marvel offerings in the first place I have no earthly idea why you would subject yourself to the latest flick.
