I am starting to get spam to the email addresses that I used to sign up to Dealticker & Dealfind.
I have my own domain, so every time I sign up for something new, I use a different email address. So, I know exactly where I used the email address. What is interesting, is that I am getting the same spam to the email addresses I used for both of these. Recently, I have been getting emails from "Max Gentleman".
Now the big question is, did they sell my email addresses or do they have poor security? Either one isn't good.

The sad part is that they charge $87 for an oil change normally.
They will probably limit the number of coupon appointments they accept in a day. So, it will be the coupon customers that get shafted.
The part that I don't get, is why not just get your oil change done somewhere else that is normally this price. I get mine done at Meineke, and it is $20 for the basic oil change and $30 for the Preferred service which includes more than most dealers provide in an $87 oil change. I believe there are other companies that do the same for about the same price.

That's strange. I have a gmail account that I use to sign up for every single daily deals site and there's little to no spam at all. There's no way these companies would sell any email address when building their email subscriber base is the core of their business.

Have you checked your spam filter? The volume isn't very high for these yet (about one or two a week per address), but the fact that I am now getting spam to email addresses that I only used to sign up for their sites points the blame directly at them.
It is probably more likely that they were sloppy with protecting the mailing list than actually selling the email addresses. But either way, it isn't good.

I've finally decided to take a chance on these guys and see what kind of product they put out. I'm a little skeptical because glasses that normally cost me $300+ came out to just over $50 and the whole "Get What You Pay For" addage comes to mind.
