I remember almost beating the Regulators. We were close, once.

BTW, are you guys going to start trading in your 09s in anticipation for NHL 10 soon?

Also, if Dobbles isn't able/willing to, I could probably throw up a (pretty basic) website with a chat for next year. What do you think?

PS- I call GM and create the team duties for NHL 10!

Really I just want it for saving goals. All the goals that I've saved come from overtime winners because there's not enough time to save them during the game. And if there's no scoring in the last period the highlights end up being only saves and hits. If there does happen to be a goal in the highlights it's only like a second long and you don't get to see how it develops.

Ya I will soon, as soon as we get back to div 1. I think it's like 7 bucks at ebgames lol.

The calgarypuck chat is fine and the ps3 one works for those without a laptop near them(wood). It would be nice to have a place for stats though.

I was in tears laughing when that happened, I went from being pissed we lost, to being extremely confused from the controller comment to laughing my ass off at your comment.

Am I really the only one who doesn't use the chat? I say we use the PS3 chat more often, I feel so left out.

Already traded mine in and waiting for NHL 10. only 1 month away from NHL 10.

I keep all the games, I have them all saved from NHL 97 on for Sega Genesis, PS1, 2 and 3.

What the hell ever happened to Dobbles? Is he gone forever or just hanging low this summer? He was getting married wasn't he? Crazy kid. Anyways, I'd love to give the Fata's another shot for nhl10. I have had a hell of a time with the EA servers ... hopefully this game works a little better for me.

I'm also excited for NHL 10. Sure hope EASHL just gets better, 'cause it has a ton of potential. I'd certainly be in for another rendition of the Fata's....and if leagues are half decent I'd certainly love to get a league going too, just to mix it up between BAP mode and full team control mode.

I had a ton of fun playing with you guys, damn COD4 and 1v1 NHL starting cutting into my time. You guys still play at all? I'm sure I'm not on the roster anymore, but the offseason is making me miss hockey.

I love playing D. I'm not terribly good at scoring (actually I'm god-awful) and I enjoy taking shots from the point because even when they don't go in they often set up the forwards.

Me too. Going to play D again for NHL 10.
I just like to hit ... very very hard.

I think NHL 10 going to take height AND weight into account so no more 250 lb speed demons. (I read it somewhere.. but forgot where)

i'm still around. i keep an eye on you guys.

i actually moved on to dynasty mode in nhl. thats been a lot funner for me.

as far as cp, i was sick of getting trolled so i quit posting here. the ignorance and red wings hatred is just too pathetic to take part.

personally, i am super excited about nhl 10. i don't know what i will do about playing online. i loved the fatas and we played a lot of games together. but, personally, i think the team had identity issues. because we were just an open club that took its base from CP, we ended up with players that all wanted something different out of the team. so for me, i have to figure out what i want from a team and find a team that fits my needs.

also - marriage and such went great. had a great honeymoon and life is grand! if only i didn't have to watch the stupid penguins win the cup a week before it! wings choked big time!

I was saddened to see CPfatas.com taken down...I went there last night hoping to have a staring contest with Rico.
One thing I am encouraged to hear is that this year there will be "hardcore" and "casual" leagues in the EASHL (can't remember where I read/heard it though). I was thinking it might be a cool idea, if there are CP teams again (and I hope there are) to have one team in each league...with people moving back and forth if their desires change.
We had/have a lot of good players on CP, and could probably challenge the elite teams if we iced a team of only the best.
