Anyways, we are in the same boat as you guys as we started slow and are now getting hot and bidding for the playoffs.
But the reason I decided to post as make sure you take out the Walrus!!! Personally we found them extremly dirty and wouldnt mind them missing the playoffs!! Keep it up boys!!

A few of us play on the Saints in div 7. We were the best team in that division in the first half, but ever since January we've started losing a lot. We're still in third, but that's only thanks to our hot start. How many teams make the playoffs in div 7? Is it 4?

Cool. A few of us play on the Saints in div 7 in HNA, so maybe we've played each other. Yeah, our last game against the Walrus was a physical affair. But we're always up for it. But the refs were letting a little too much go.

Oh right, sorry I read your pm when I was in a hurry and meant to respond later. We have 13 players officially signed up now, which is where we kind of wanted to be for the summer. We can talk it over with the guys and see how people would feel about having 15 skaters.
Also, Colin and straybullet will be back for the winter, so if they did join, I'd only be able to offer them a summer spot, and then see how many guys come back for the winter before I could gaurantee them anything.
Also, there was one more guy from the current team that's still debating whether he'll play or not, so if decides to play then we'll be at 14.
If we can't offer them full time spots though, they can be our two main spares if they want. With the relaxed jersey code for the summer they wouldn't have to buy jerseys.

Yeah, I've put the notion that being a spare is probably 100% doable. But, if we have room, I say we bring a fellow cp'er or two aboard.

I'd like to try and keep it at 13 + spares for summer.

Ok, I think the agreement is to cap at 13. Spares end up getting to play a good amount of games anyways.

ya we've played you guys for sure.......im sure a few guys on your team dont like me very much, im a sandpaper kinda guy...haha. but all in fun as its part of the game!
6 make the playoffs in div 7, cause there is 8 teams. we checked a week ago or so.
ya I personally have no problem with physical play, just hate the cheap shots. I got hit from behind (penalty called) and the elbowed in the face (penalty called) all in one shift one game.....dont remember the team. the only thing about physical play that worries me is we all have a job to go to the next day, so the cheap hacks, hits from behind etc could effect my work and that doesnt sound like fun to me.
so who was there playing on sunday night in Indus then?

For the first time in as long as I can remember, everyone is expected to show. Which means an abundance of forwards, so we'll have to get a litle creative with the lines, I was thinking.....
19 - 22 - 9
6 - 15 - 2
7 - 11 - 23
8 - 12
5 - 3
21

Yeah, sounds good. I'll be there about 60 minutes early to take care of some equipment issues. If anyone else wants to keep me company, you know where to find me.
A reminded to bring BOTH sets of jerseys. We are white, but may have to go red for whatever reason

I'm more pumped than I've ever been for rec hockey. Tonight should be a win, but tomorrow's going to be a tough one. If we win both, we should win the final playoff spot with ease. Although, like Jayems was saying, if we do happen to lose tomorrow, we're not out of it, as the Walrus still have the tougher remaining games.
Brett can't make it tonight, so I've revised the line-up.....
19 - 22 - 9
6 - 15 - 2
21 - 11 - 23
5 - 12
7 - 8
