Try a re-start, that usually helps me

So another question for my buddy with the iPhone....it keeps dropping calls after 3 seconds. Anyone got any ideas on the VAGUE problem?

I had the same problem last Sunday. Both my incoming and outgoing calls were dropping like that. I re-started my phone and all was well after that.

About this recall on the AC adaptor: It seems to me that the chance of a problem is very slim. I'm thinking I may order the new adaptor on line and just keep the old one so that I have two. Is the risk too great and should I just throw it out?

I have heard that the problem is that the prongs can get stuck in an outlet...if that is indeed the case, I don't think it should be that much of a concern as long as you are careful when pulling it out. Of course, I could be wrong.

My DHL box came with a pre-paid UPS return sticker. No problems with UPS picking it up. And Apple did not require a CC number, I just filled in the form on the website.

I haven't sent mine back yet. If I remember correctly, the letter says to contact DHL, but the return sticker is a UPS one.

Default Time change

Not sure if this is just limited to the iPhone or not, but whenever my iPhone drops back to E from 3G my time flips back an hour. Just now I was sitting on the Edge network, phone said 3:01PM. Got into 3G range, 4:01PM. Back to the Edge, 3:01PM. (The current client office I am at doesn't get 3G coverage in certain areas)

If you want to see if this happens to you Go into Settings --> General --> Network --> Turn off 3G

This is apparently supposed to be cleared up after daylight savings

I had that problem before I think.

I went to Settings > General > Date & Time > Timezone: Calgary

and it seemed to fix the problem..

Make sure the Set Time Zone Automatically is turned to OFF

I cannot make a call for more than 10 seconds without disconnected, but only on the 3G network. This has been going on for 4-5 days. Has this happened to anyone else?

It happened when I first got the phone but once I'd updated the software, it stopped.

What is the E network anyway? I was in West Ed Mall the other day, and when I came out it stayed on the E network for the longest time...
