The amount of subscription services nowadays are endless; no one is going to buy gift cards for the 100s of various monthly services people use.

But for 7 months? I mean, our typical credit card statement is usually one page of charges so it’s not a lot to just scan it and check, especially if I just cancelled a subscription service.

There are all sorts of things that we make slower on purpose to placate strugglers. Adding a bunch of stop signs where they aren't necessary seems like a bad plan to me.
