Even now, the player that got hit by Peters is remaining anonymous.

Coaches can ruin a player's career if you look at them the wrong way. It's no secret why players would rather not speak on such issues and why you only heard about any of these allegations from former players who have nothing to lose. Marner barely wanted to admit the list situation happened, and that was much smaller in nature versus the Peters one. Akim is right, playing the race card (even if legit) when you are 20 years old without a name to yourself was a sure way to get black listed.

You're implying I'm looking for, or expecting Peters to come out with a denial of the situation. I'm not.

I'm waiting for an official handling of the situation by the team that has official record from Aliu, Peters, the other players present at the time and anyone else relevant to the incident. Peters may get to release a statement, or he may not.

We aren't the people that get to say case closed.

Well, now that this is out there, unless there is some kind of proof that these allegations are not true, then the Flames need to get rid of Peters. It’s a bad look if they keep him. You ha e to wonder how many players will avoid Calgary or want out if they keep him.
