We got a late 2nd for Russell because Dalla protected the pick. I know people have paid high prices for rentals, but you are also paying a premium to get a player for the playoffs.
I understand dmen are expensive but in my opinion that was quite an overpayment for this team. No sense derailing the thread and I hope to see Hamonic being a key piece on a Flames playoff run proving me wrong.

They train and encourage them like this. They've always been taught to manage the game not call it by the rules.
