That's the kind of play that sees a guy on waivers on Tuesday morning.

He was a first round pick (a poor one at that) in this past years draft. Looks like a confused Rookie who doesn't recognize the play and where he's supposed to go. Classic cash of a pass rusher thinking he's supposed to drop into coverage and panicing. No doubt Dorsey drafted him with the idea that he'd cut Tamba Hali after this year for cap reasons and Ford could slide in and replace him next year....I don't see that working out too well even with Hali at an advanced age.

Was watching this game last night, was wondering what the Right tackle was thinking on this play?? Maybe he was focused on the Linebacker thinking he might blitz, but the tackle looked a bit silly on this play and Cousins got hammered.

I'm heading down to Seattle for the weekend with my Dad and bro to catch the Seahawks - Cowboys game. I've been to Seattle several times before so I have an idea of what to do in town, but for those of you who have been to a game there, any tips or gameday things to look for/do?

There are a bunch of bars around the stadium. Go there and drink some, the tailgating culture is pretty much non-existent since there's no sea of parking there.

Safeco is a good bet. It's a buck to get in, cheap beer including some really good local craft beers, and decent food choices. They play the early games on the outfield scoreboard. We usually hang at Edgar's Cantina (a pub inside the stadium) where it's less loud than closer to the big screen where they pump the techno Muzak.

Why are Bay Area sports fans and California sports fans in general such violent criminals? Horrible...
Quote:
For two fans who were simply waiting in line to use the restroom at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, the in-stadium experience was far worse.

Two men with extensive criminal records attacked them viciously. On Wednesday, 27-year-old Amador Rebollero and his brother, 34-year-old Dario Rebollero, were arraigned on felony assault charges.

“These victims were beaten like animals,” Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Deborah Hernandez told reporters after the proceedings in court. “One of the victims has suffered severe injuries. He has some bleeding to the brain. He has had to have partial skull removal to relieve some of that pressure. He is currently suffering some paralysis.”

The incident happened after one of the two victims tapped Amador Rebollero on the shoulder to inform him that a stall in the restroom was vacant.

“These victims were just standing in line at the bathroom, waiting their turn, trying to make the line move, and then all of a sudden they are beaten,” Hernandez said.

As the primary assailant, Amador Rebollero is being held on $350,000 bail. Dario Rebollero’s bail is only $75,000.

Via the Fresno Bee, Dario Rebollero has been in and out of jail since he was 20 years old. In 2001, he was sentenced to 45 days in jail for assault with a deadly weapon. Later that year, he served 120 days on charges of animal cruelty and hit and run with property damage. In 2003, vehicle theft charges resulted in 210 more days in jail.

In 2007, DUI and related charges triggered in a 10-day sentence. A two-year prison term came in 2008, after he was arrested for vehicle theft, DUI, evading police, and resisting arrest.

Amador Rebollero spent six months in jail after a 2006 arrest for vehicle theft. He received a 16-month sentence in 2008 after a variety of charges, including car theft and being in possession of ammunition after being ordered not to own a gun.

Brutal news.

I don't know why people didn't step in? A whole bunch of people in the bathroom just watched two guys get beat by two others?

The guy should rot in prison.

Huge AFC South game tonight between the Colts and Texans. If the Colts can win tonight it will give them essentially a 2 game lead on the Texans since the Texans can't win in Indy. I'll say Colts win 24-20

Some good ol' Texans football here. Now we get to see Fitzpatrick try to overcome a deficit, lol. Here comes a blowout.

Teams like the Texans are why Alex Smith just got 15 per year. He's not great, but a team like Houston would be so much better if they just had a guy like him.

I wonder when the NFL admits that Thursday night games are a truly horrible idea.

Every single week its a blowout and entirely un-entertaining.

Thursday night football....................blows goats.

A lot of people start/park in the International District just north east of the stadium. All types of Asian focused restaurants/bars.

Before access to the employer's box/club seats, our tradition was to park and start in Little Saigon which is just east of I-5 and the ID. Free parking with cheap Banh Mi or Pho and just walk down.

Since you're not a STH and want to drive in, you're best bet for a tailgate experience are the parking lots along and adjacent to the viaduct.

There is also Touchdown City in the convention center part of the CLink which is free and family friendly.

Safeco idea is a good one. My preferred watering hole, if you're early enough, is Elysian Fields which is conveniently located and a great place for a craft beer. This time of year, the Night Owl or the Great Pumpkin Ale are local favorites or at least mine.
Have fun!

Anyone know why Fox has the Patriots-Bills this weekend?

I was thinking maybe CBS has to hand over an AFC game to Fox for every NFC game they take on TNF?

Edit- found the answer
