I don't think they specifically are looking to disrespect the Flames. I think it is more disrespecting fans. It is so arbitrary that it makes the brain hurt. It is right up there with Conklin being a better goalie than Broduer based on really obscure scenarios. Everyone is dumber from reading it.

Ike Howard is a prospect with potential similar to Marvel Gridin. None of us expect Gridin to be on this list, he is a very solid prospect but shouldn't sniff the top charts.

Zayne is literally the top offensive defenseman prospect league wide...this isn't exactly bias either, tons of prospect rankings have him there. Frustrating a bit to not see him there but like indicated above, contreversy pushes clicks.

this list though? Howard at 6?? so Tampa could have/should have traded him for a top 4 or 5 pick in the 2025 draft? come on now

I wouldn't either, but Tampa received some decent offers for him.

He is getting a very good opportunity, although that may be good fantasy wise, it doesn't increase his skill level.

It really depends on trade protection. An 8 year deal with a full NMC? Ya, that's not happening. An 8 year deal with a m-ntc? That's a different story.

I never said anything about the Flames...much of the media are Oiler fanboys. Maybe wake up to reality...if he was still in Tampa or was traded to CBJ or something he would not be ranked high...he never has been until the trade.

IMO giving Raz an 8 year deal no matter what protection would be a mistake . I really like the player but I don’t think that contract would age well at all. At most you’re getting 5 years worth out of that.
