Thankfully the northbound has no camera, so I can come off deerfoot and maintain a good clip

You hate people if you speed, know that and be better.

I hate people. Do I just submit a statement with my speeding ticket and I get out of it?

Just wait, the city is installing directed energy weapons in the speed on green cameras capable of vaporizing a vehicle and its contents instantly.

Pfft. They'd rather have him alive and paying fines.

Hmmm - so it was changed more than a year ago! Given the fact that I move with the flow of traffic I never would have guessed it changed that long ago. Very surprised this is my first ticket there as I thought the speed limit was 70 until just recently. I guess I'll just take my lumps and pay the ticket without any further action.
I do maintain that 60 there is unreasonably slow there though. I can't recall the last time I've seen a pedestrian there and the somewhat dangerous yield that existed from EB 114th to SB Barlow is now controlled by a light, so what are we doing here? This is a three lane road in both directions separated by a median and you are trying to connect a road with a limit of 100 (Deerfoot) with a road with a limit of 70 (Barlow).

Yeah, it has been like that for years (I drive through it every day), but you're totally right that it's weirdly slow. That thing is like a strobe light catching people some days.
My biggest grievance with it was I was once side by side with this SRT8 Jeep at the red light there. They were revving at me and I wanted to take them down so bad, but I wasn't sure if I'd be speeding before I left the intersection. Still irks me they think they won and that was at least a year ago. I think about that race every time I drive through there. Wish I just stomped on it and hoped for the best from the camera.

Why do they run more dinosaur trains on the hottest days? I just saw 3 in a row.

Aren't speed cameras activated by sensors in the road just before the intersection? I say you should've gone for it. Sport SUV drivers deserve to be humiliated as often as possible.

IDK, you could be right because now that I think of it my radar detector never goes off when I go through intersections with those cameras set up.

I think it's a nice looking community in the way they designed it, problem being it feels like practically a quarter of the city's population lives in that one community. Traffic there is always bonkers, especially on weekends. And residential streets are so narrow due to many not having garages, so there's big pickup trucks parked on both sides of the street all the way down, making it basically one way traffic. Two of my buddies lived there for years, it kind of felt claustrophobic once I got onto either of their streets.

This might be the most controversial thing I have had to do. I felt my yearly craving for Cheezies and bought the large 3-pack. I started eating one, and after about a quarter of the way through, I had to toss them in the garbage (compost). I couldn’t eat them anymore, they have become so inedible because of the amount of salt. It was always bad, but it’s completely off the charts now. It feels like my tastebuds were getting fried. O have had instant noodles that were twice the daily recommended sodium and they don’t taste anywhere nearly as salty as Cheezies.
… there is also no way they are made with real cheese - maybe some token amount so the label is truthful.

Sooooo, did you throw out the two unopened packs? And what’s your address? Asking for a friend.

Some years Labor Day is later, just depends on the march of time and leap years. I know a few teachers that are annoyed they had to go in last week to start the years prep work.

About 5 years ago I was on a Whiteclaw kick. Friggen loved those things so much I'd choose them over beer even.
Then one day I'm at a friends house at a BBQ and halfway through my Whiteclaw I'm like I ####ing hate these things. Haven't had one since.
Maybe our bodies just change over time?
