People don't remember what crowds of 1800 at Cavalry games actually look like. There will be at least 3000 there.

Whether supporters are vocal or not is another story. Crowd was lively against York but vibes are low.

I know its sacrilege, but they've got to stop rope-a-doping and really come out of the gates and get the crowd into it.

Last minute goals are swell and all, but get an early one to get people into it!

He's way too cautious starting games.

So much this. Go out there and play to win the game from the get go

Whoa whoa ... you're saying intentionally booting the kickoff out of bounds doesn't get the people going?

Believe it or, I dont personally believe that really gets the crowd's engines revving. Also, I'd be disappointed in 10 year-olds did that let alone at this level.

Just saw that Herdman has been loaned to Vancouver FC for the rest of the season.

Because that'll help... I wouldn't say that we've got the depth to be jettisoning Herdman. But I am guessing that he has become frustrated with coming on as a late sub and/or riding the pine.

Well he's been #### compared to last season so he only has himself to blame.

Herdman was fantastic in his loan spell last year but hasn't been anywhere near that level this year. Just seemed to lose Tommy's trust.

Klomp has left his Belgian club, which was made official today. So I wonder if Cavalry are trying to free up cap space for a return.

Klomp would be huge to have back, but does he move the needle on the season in a big way? Unless he’s playing midfield I’m not sure he does… but his leadership and willingness to try to grab the game and do something to win would be big.

He probably helps with the leadership quotient too.

Daley, and Trafford both probably have created a bit of void in that space.

I think Klomp makes a massive difference. Stabilizes the team, provides leadership, and can score goals, which the Cavs generally seem allergic to lately. Would love to see him back.

Klomp is by far the best player I've seen in the CPL. He's spent he summer mowing lawns in Calgary though, might take him a couple of months to shake off the rust.

Changing my vote. Michael Baldisimo is the most important player to how they want to play. He sits in and lets the fullbacks get upfield. And is actually willing to pass the ball forward!

We have a midfielder who can pick a lock. Now to keep him healthy

So frustrating to watch this club roll over and give up near the end.

Really dominant first half. HFX had a great 15 minutes coming out of halftime and then Cavs grabbed the game again until the ~80th and then Tommy’s subs killed the game. Not sure why he thinks a midfield isn’t important when trying to get a goal. There was no one to complete a pass anymore and no one to defend the backline as Kobza was practically sitting in the backline so HFX could just run at them. Aird should’ve come off earlier, his legs were gone by 65’.

Harsh to say but Ntignee needs to be so much better. At least force the keeper to fricken move.

All in all not a bad game. Another day (season?) and they score 3 or 4. This season is all about peaking in late October/November now. So from that perspective there was a lot of good. And beat Forge on the 30th. I can’t believe they’re still undefeated.

Putting some thoughts together about the Warschewski/Camargo partnership. It’s not working. When Warschewski is roaming then Camargo needs to push the defensive line and make the runs and he’s not. He’s too deep. You could really see it today
