Can't believe after all the crap that's happened both this season for the Saints so far, and yesterday's game itself, that they were a Bears collapse away from having a share of 1st place in the division. The NFC South sucks this year.
Bye week couldn't have come at a better time, this team is getting decimated with injuries right now. Graham with a sprained shoulder now (among others who dropped yesterday), hopefully it doesn't linger.

Care to elaborate?
They lost the game, and there were some 3rd and short situations, where I think they should have tried running the ball. Alex Smith did make some poor throws as well.
But it's not like they got licked 41-14. Really since the first game I can't whine too much about the Chiefs because I really don't see that much shame in losing road games in Denver and San Fran by 5 & 7 points. Especially when one considers that they do have a pretty lengthy injury list.
He inherited a 2-14 team, and has had to make quite a bit of change to it. I think they'll regret the fact that they were a real mess the first game of the season as that will likely keep them out of the final wild card spot. But they've played a lot better this season than I thought they would.

NFL spokesman Michael Signora said Monday the penalty was correctly called as chop block, per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. One part of the rule broken is known as a "lure" block. While Thomas chops Campbell, Clady "confronts the defensive player in a pass-blocking posture but is not physically engaged with the defensive player."

Why do Seahawks players ask for a flag on every play? on defense, returning kicks, offence, what a joke!

I am a Russell Wilson fan.... I think he is an awesome QB and athlete. As much respect as I have for ability I do think that once a QB scrambles past the line of scrimmage he should be considered a rb and be subject to being hit like one.

Totally agree. In fact I think a QB should be able to be hit like any other player in the pocket too. If they can't take a hit they shouldn't be in league.
Seattle has let Washington hang around in this one. So many penalties (most of them legit).

that Bills segment with the game ball was depressing
I guess it will finally let me make my break from that misery when that team is sold and moved.

I think they need to be protected somewhat. They are arguably the most important player on the field. A lot like goalies in hockey. I think that protection should end when they decide to run like a rb. Honestly if these guys got hit every time they left the pocket then they would think twice about it. I just think it's quite the advantage for a scrambling qb to be able to slide and not be touched.

True, I guess I just think the level of protection they receive in the pocket is unnecessary. A slight bump to the head and it is 15 yards RTP.
If the QB hands the ball off and then carries on with a fake (like Wilson often does) can the defence hammer him? In my opinion the answer should be yes and that would be a logical way to eliminate the QB keepers as they wouldn't want to expose the QB to unnecessary hits. I ask if this is allowed because I don't think I've seen anyone do it.

I agree with you on the fakes and being hit .... but hands to the face is a penalty no matter who you hit.

Harvin can't buy a TD and I didn't like that call at all. That's called using gravity to make a block.

This is almost NBA level reffing. Can't have another primetime blowout I guess.

Thats too funny.
He's trying to avoid a penalty for hitting a player?
One too many hits to the head?
Maybe someone yelled buffet back here?
Letting his buddies pad their stats?
Trying out as a FB for the 9ers?
