My front yard is now the proud temporary owner of a bright orange sign! Quick glance shows one nearby neighbour with one as well. Begun, the orange wave has. Keep it coming!

With the local UCP candidate leading his NDP rival by 10, I hope those projections are wrong.

I haven't seen a lot of effort put into rural ridings by the ndp, compared to ucp. I understand not wanting to throw money away where you can't win, but anything under 30 minutes from calgary is basically a bedroom community.

I had the same concerns and I’m sure there are going to be some interesting conversations, but our MLA is the worst and I’d likely be getting an NDP sign even if our “Premier” wasn’t out embarrassing our province every day. I’m actually going to be the reason for two signs and one is going to be very prominent in our small community, so let the fire works fly!

I'm sure she's done a lot more research and critical thinking lately to decide to enter public life under the UCP banner.

It might be worth asking yourself if you should give a #### what they think?

I'm not the kind of person who likes to broadcast my political views. Any discussion in the past just leads to we have to agree to disagree. It's the same with my friends who are hard core Trump supporters.
It's hard to get rural voters to change their views. Once a progressive voter, always a progressive voter.

Got my orange sign today as well. Wife and I have a deadpool for the first time it gets tossed or ganked.
She's more pessimistic at a week, but I say 2. It's the North afterall.

She's the UCP candidate in my riding. Her past statements and views should give voters in my riding pause for thought. It will be interesting to hear the questions posed to her when the candidates debates come up.
My issue with candidates is can I trust them. Just like Smith she has flip flopped on her views and It makes me think she's doing it just so she can be elected. Apologizing is one thing but she has to demonstrate change through her actions. Frankly it's too late for that.

I had a chance to meet him on Saturday afternoon in High River. Seems like a good candidate.

Yeah, this one is beyond redemption. She's the take back alberta candidate, she's an lpn who is anti-vaccination and she thinks she should govern based on her religious ideas (victory church). Not to mention her husband's social media feeds make Thereon Fleury look sane.

I read her husband was sharing pro Putin videos after the Ukraine invasion and that he was also involved in the Coutts Convoy.

How is a person like that even an option, let alone the leading candidate? The UCP has been completely taken over by very very very stupid people.
