The Stamps have beaten them once already so the Ti-Cats would have to win the Oct. 18 game to have a chance.

Kind of like when we traded Burris to the Cats and he was putting up big numbers went to a Grey Cup and beat us with Ottawa.

Yeah pretty much outside of that fact that neither of the Stamps or Ti-Cats will get a sniff of this year's Grey Cup. That said Hamilton is playing better and there's time for them to move up in the standings as they have a lot of games left vs their own division in the 2nd half of the season.

Bo isn't just having some flukey throws, his mechanics and his power look fantastic.

As Maier alternates good and bad, this should be his week to have 300 yards and a couple of TD's.

Argos lead the league in sacks so if the OL doesn't play a hell of a lot better this week, we may see more Bonner time.

Need to establish the run game to slow down that Argos pass rush and also take some pressure off Maier / Bonner.

I'm sure Carey has had this game marked on his calendar for a while as well. Stamps giving up a league worst 6.2 YPC so run defense will also play an important role in the outcome of this game.

I hate to root against a Canadian boy but I kind of want him to throw a bunch of picks just to shut Suitor up.

Justin Dunk was on TSN radio in Ottawa and said that if Rourke returns to the CFL this year, it will be with the Lions.

Okay, let's bring VA to the Stamps then. I'm likely a bigger fan of Vernon Adams then most people, I like what he brings to the table.

VA for Maier.
VA and Stevens both have legs they could come up with some neat packages. Probably not though, we will utilize his big arm by running screens to Stevens.

I would love that. Seeing a CFL QB preform the way Rourke did and then basically bounce around nothingville in the NFL, hoping for a shot, it makes you wonder why teams don't poke around the NFL more for released QB's and try to sell them on $3-500k/yr and a second chance at a professional football careeer.

Yes, I understand how much they make on a practice roster, that's why I think our league should target those that are on the verge of being released from practice rosters, like Rourke just was.
Target them, recruit them hard, show them a league in a safe country with fans and games on TV where they can make killer money compared to leaving football altogether and having to get a regular job. Surely we can find 3 - 4 Rourke's down there over the course of a couple years that totally changes the skill level of our league?

Not sure actually but they used to say that’s why players stuck around before.
