I love the deal, but I'm a little concerned too. The deal is too good to pass up. I'm still going to jump on the deal and hope it works out. If not, I can always get a refund.

From personal experience, I recommend not taking an appointment/rescheduling that puts you after the 30 days...

That Please Mum deal looks awesome, thanks GFG.
I also forgot to thank you for posting that 50% off sale for t-shirts at Work Warehouse a week or so ago. I picked up a bunch of really nice plain t-shirts - finally growing up and moving away from skate shirts (not entirely, but it's a start).

FYI, all the PS3's in Calgary were gone by 10.45. I picked up a Black Wii.
If you are into dubbed chinese/asian samurai movies now is the good time to pick them up as ripping them and getting the dubbing to work properly is a royal pain.
When they say everything is on sale, they mean it, pop, popcorn etc etc.
Their food stuffs is overpriced to begin with but they have a great popcorn seasoning selection that is hard to find elsewhere.
Once they announce the rest of the closures will be a great time to get some smokin deals. You will have to go day of though else you will miss out as all the scammers go day of.

So they only have to make 1,700 visits over the next year. Which would only be about 4.5 visits per day. If it never snows. Which it does.
Assuming the only time people use this service is between May and September I'd say they have about 5 months to complete all those jobs (so about 11 per day). That isn't so bad if they have several crews able to work it. What is bad is that they've only generated about $4,250 in revenue (which won't all go to them). My guess is they'll get about $2000 off this? Ouch.
Of course not everybody will use their coupon, but that's still rough.

I bought their first deal and it was a horrible experience. Their voice mail was full and they didn't reply to any emails. They must have an army of people because they sold a ton of the aerate and power rake coupons and it seemed like fulfilling those requests would be highly unlikely. Now that they have this one I'm expecting some angry people.

Another sad story from a deal a few months ago. Anyone who bought the voucher for Calgary Cleaning, I have bad news for you.
http://calgarycleaning.com
They were supposed to be in for us tomorrow, kinda wondered why they hadn't called.
I think the only vouchers I will be getting from now on will be from established companies.

They probably knew they were going to go through bankruptcy. They just wanted one last cash injection.

And another joke. JR Contracting.
After making 4 appointments with them and them not showing up for any of them (Me having to call them and wait for a call back for couple days) they tell me today Dealfind hasn't paid them so they can't come out and service my lawn.
They want me to contact Dealfind and get them to write a check to JR contracting so they can come and F my lawn up.
This was my 1st of 2 attempts at this whole deals crap. The 2nd one is tomorrow morning at Napa to get my oil change etc, see how that goes(took month and a half to get a booking).
Not happy with these joke of companies you guys are bringing in.
Won't be trying anymore of these services, rather pay fulla amount and get the job done instead of just lose my money and put up with this joke.

I wouldn't avoid these deals in general if I were you, but I would avoid any "deal" where you need to book an appointment and they obviously have sold more deals then their capacity allows them to handle in a reasonable amount of time.

I would lose my #### if I bought that JR deal. My time is precious and if they were to keep wasting it I would start pulling a Kramer with the cable company kind of thing.

Any deal that's just a coupon / gift certificate to a place are great deals & easy to use; haven't had issues with any.
Haven't bothered trying any of the ones that are a service... my view on it is especially for the ones that are something rediculous (more than 75% off) is likely too good to be true.
