Interesting loss tonight...Merc, KG and I lost 11-4 after leads of 2-0, 3-2, and 4-3. After the 2-0 goal, the other team pauses and gets two goals on the next 3 shots....when we go up 4-3, two pauses within 20 seconds, and they rattle off 8 straight.

Most are the down low play...we banged 3 into our own net of all things, the rest of the passes got through/across and from an impossible angle, the shot gets in.

It was a full team of 6 manual player, one guy got 4 goals, all of those were part of the 8 straight (named Tech Geek, which has me extra suspicious).

Each half breakaway they got, went low glove side and beat the goalie each time same spot...probably accounts for 3 goals.

Conspiricy theory for sure, but those two pauses, then rattling 8 straight off, 5 off the cross crease pass (7 total) (and we have manual defender to stop those, but 3 went in off them) sends off warning bells that something else could be going on during those pauses which is messing with something.

Merc KG and I lose the odd game, but not by 7 goals.

That was definitely suspicious browna. Merc messaged me after and said they are ranked like 22 or something. Other than scoring on completely weird plays they weren't that good. It was as if they had turned our goalie down to 20 OV or something. I think they scored on 11 of 18 shots or something like that.

PUCK PULL - R stick right to 1/4 circle down
CHOP PUCK - wiggle R stick in left or right position
ONE HAND DEKE - R stick @ 7 o'clock
ONE HAND WINDMILL - one handed deke, then L1+ up on R stick
ONE HAND SIDE DEKE - one handed deke, then L1+ left on R stick
PUCK FLIP DEKE - R stick @ 5 o'clock , then L1+ up/right on R stick
HEAD FAKE - L1+ up on R stick
BODY JUKE - L1+ down on R stick
TOE DRAG - R stick right , then L1+ left on R stick
THRU-THE-LEGS - R stick @ 5 o'clock , then L1+ left on R stick
WINDMILL - backhand, then L1+ right on R stick
SPINORAMA - hold VC, then half circle downward right to left on R stick
LOOSE PUCK SPINORAMA - hold VC, reverse SPINORAMA on R stick
SIDE JUKE - backhand, then L1 + down on R stick
FAKE SLAP SHOT - down on R stick, let go
SUDDEN STOP - down on L stick
??? JUKE - one handed deke, then L1+ down/right on R stick


you can COMBO into other dekes by HOLDING L1/LB while finishing a deke and pressing a direction on the R stick. Experiment and ENJOY!

*OTHER SPECIAL MOVES

SLAP PASS - hold R2 button, do a slap shot while aiming pass with L stick
SLAP SAUCER - hold R1 button, do a slapshot while aiming pass with L stick
EXTRA WHIP WRISTER - start wrist shot from 5 o'clock position
CURVE SHOT - get momentum while skating left (about 10 o'clock,) shoot a WRIST SHOT, works best far post (Thanx to DV305 !)
ONE HAND SHOT - start from ONE HANDED DEKE position, then up on R stick
SKATE BACKWARDS - hold VC in slot
MARTIN ST.LOUIS - hold VC while entering the slot, shoot while SKATING BACKWARDS
TURBO CHECK - hold VC to skate backwards, line up opponent, aim BOTH sticks at the player (Thanx to DV305 !)
HIP CHECK - hold VC to skate backwards, move BOTH sticks sideways toward opponent

Of course most dekes can be broken up by spamming the poke check or a well timed body-check.

Last night we had a 5vs4 cpfata scrimmage that went into double ot. It was pretty fun so we're gonna try it again tonight @930. Show up if you can. There will be 8 of us for sure so 2 spots open unless we dress some goalies.
