The vaunted, Stanley Cup favourites now have more losses than the lowly Calgary Flames.

Katz. I've been a Flames and Raiders fan long enough to know that organizational ineptitude over years and decades usually starts at the very top.

They're 3 on 3 champs and nothing more.

Is .500 over the last 10 games good? Asking for a friend.

Nurse going over to Gudas for a chat was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen.

Ahhhh, the good old E=NG always floats back to the top.

Doesn't matter what year or who's GM, coach or players they always find new levels of ineptitude to keep us entertained and provide fuel for this thread.

Saw Oilers fans livid about officiating in their loss last night. Open The Score app and see power plays were 6-2 in favour of the Oilers. The entitlement is shocking.

DeBrusk was losing it on the refs not calling penalties on the Ducks during the broadcast. It was unreal and super unprofessional.

Whats the deal is McDavid hurt, or are they keeping up appearances to let him get a vacation?

Even on the Sportsnet Central I saw…showing the highlights of Gudas doing his thing…”no call”….”no call on that one either” etc. they sure know who to play to!

yeah I suspect a few of us popped over after the Flames 2nd period to the end of the Oilers. Its ok for fans to lose it like that, but I'm not sure I've ever heard that degree of disdain from an announcer- of course as I had just turned over I was missing some context- admittedly that Gudas on Perry thing looked like a missed penalty but not the crime of the century

Too bad the runway is running out for the Oilers to drop out of the playoffs. If there were 10 games left it would be possible with the way they're playing.

I just saw the hit on Perry. Does anyone else thing he exaggerated it to draw a bigger penalty? Did the refs think he was being a drama queen and so let it go? Is the Oiler reputation for diving catching up to them?

To answer the tweet question: Because the Oilers are soft and have no grit or courage.

Another question: Why did the Oilers only play with 11 forwards and 6 defensemen last night? Are they in salary cap jail and can't ice a full roster? Is there no one on the farm that could help them? Was management's preparation for injuries so poor that they couldn't get a player up from the farm in time?

I'm no Ref but that looks like interference to me, but Perry sold the ever-loving hell out of it.

Thats not a 'Yard sale' hit where his glove and stick go flying.

I think Gudas should be suspended for the next game.
