But reading the Ossoff winning tweet, followed by the Omar tweet, gave me the exact same chill you get when you're watching some action movie, the chips are down, it's all gonna be lost, and the music kicks up, the good guy stands up, and finally kicks some serious ass.

Yes, I know it's stupid, and I am in no way comparing this very serious and important moment to something so silly. But that shot of hopeful adrenaline is so nice. And I'm going to embrace it anyway.

The only thing that will temporarily happen is there will be a lot fewer elected GOPers in DC continuing the contest the election thing. Cruz and company will fall into line after having their faces eaten by leopards today when they had to be evacuated.

Senators and Congress members can be expelled. Other members would have to call for it.
