Google says Prime & YouTube, but you'll pay $4.99 to watch on either of those.

Stuff like that is why I'll happily get chirped for still having a DVD stand with some classics on it. "What are you doing, it's all online now!" No, no it isn't...not on a reputable site with HD & no buffering issues anyway.

I've bought most of my favourites and have them ripped to my Plex server so I'm never stuck in that situation btimbit is in.

Yeah but what’s paying $5 to watch a movie in 4K? Think of the investment of buying it on dvd, then blu ray then again in 4K. What’s that like $60 min? I could rent it a dozen times for that.
Subscribe less, rent more. Its worth it in the long run.

Then you're just not using the right non-reputable site.
Maybe just me, but I wouldn't pay $5 to rent the matrix in 2024.
Maybe if they resurrected blockbuster and gave us back the fun of going to physically browse for a rental at the store. But not to "unlock" content that's been out there for years from a streaming platform.

Shame, but thanks everyone
Was thinking of ordering some blu rays again, tired of how compressed streaming looks anyway

Yeah my best friend has Plex and I'm insanely jealous of him for it haha. He tried to set it up at my place too, but for some reason he couldn't get it to work.
Because he tried, the Plex app is always sitting there on my PS5 apps page, taunting me.

I recently watched Voyage Home, and I absolutely loved it, it's probably my favorite out of the first 4. I enjoyed the more light hearted tone, the movie is hilarious, I had a whale of a time. The plot is really weird if you stop to think about it but who cares you have a great time watching it, and you feel such joy at the end of the film, this is great sci fi. My rankings so far go: 4-2-3-1.

I'm not entirely sure what to make of All of Us Strangers. It deals with themes of loss, grief, and the struggle to move forward, blending elements of the fantastical with a stark realism. That combo worked to heighten the already somber tone, but at times also felt like too much was left on the cutting room floor.

This answer is a civilian answer
Generation Kill is the greatest military Mini-Series ever.
It perfectly captures the modern military experience.
So so many things on point.
There are multiple examples in that show that I have lived, I’ve experienced Mr Potatohead in person.

But it's not as entertaining. It's a series, not a documentary.

It's ok that you connect with it and like it more, it's understandable. It's not a better show though, and I actually really like Generation Kill.

We can agree to disagree.
I actually like
GK
Pacific
BoB
in that order
To stay true to the thread, I actually liked the combat scenes in The Thin Red Line better then Saving Private Ryan

Haha, are you out of your mind?
Latest Indiana Jones got 58% on Metacritic. It was a bad movie and the chick wasn't hot. That doesn't equal "hate on for female roles."
What a moronic conclusion.

NO WE CAN'T!
I actually thought the Pacific would have been better without the entire Basilone storyline. I get it, Medal of Honor winner and all that, but it felt off to me.

BoB
GK
Pacific
for me
The thing with GK is I think you have to either have military experience or at least a lot of familiarity to really 'get' it, or like nik said, connect with it more.
But it's fantastic. The banter when they're bored is some of my favourite dialogue in any show ever

Totally agree. BoB works because it stays with the one group of guys. Pacific jumped around too much with too many storylines, first time I watched it I actually still didn't know who was who until a re-watch.
Still great though

Watch the show but pay attention to the background conversations and discussions instead of the main ones.
It is great.
