This is my hypothesis but I think Buffalo may be down to a couple teams on Eichel...or might be granting a couple teams access to medical records.

LA going after Danault, and Vegas trading for Dadonov makes me think they are out.

New York has been pretty quiet today...same with Minnesota. Makes me think Eichel might be getting close.

I think at this point it is us or the Ducks. If the Ducks deal Gibson away to Colorado you would have to think that puts us out front.

Minnesota did say they were out this morning but I feel like that is what we hear shortly before a deal with that same team is announced.


I don’t see the Rangers getting him without a ridiculous overpayment.

Does feel like the Kings are out but I am not counting out Vegas

Vegas would have to make a bunch of other deals to make space, I think that process would have already begun.

The two closest comparables are:

-Nedelijovic returned a 3rd.
-Adin Hill returned a 2nd.

I don't see Vanacek returning more than that.

I agree with this. I think Krejci is gone before the Eichel thing is over, but if we're out on Eichel I think he'd be a fit.

I don't think we have to move out a center either. Move Monahan to the wing. Lindholm, Krejci, Backlund as a top three.

No studs, but a solid group.
