He was completely right to do that. Ozil needs to learn that it is even more important to acknowledge the fans who have spent the day traveling to watch a loss.

nah if the last games are any indication, it'll just be Rooney up front with Kagawa in the hole. Hernandez is way better as a substitute, and Welbeck, although I like his energy, couldn't score a goal if his life depended on it. Not the time for experiments like that.

While City deserved to score six, I think that Arsenal could/should have scored more than three. Am I wrong?

Most of the media are jumping on the Middle Eastlands being a fortress but I though City showed that competent attacking units can do more than a little damage away at City.

WBA sack Steve Clarke.

Going I be an exciting second half at the bottom of the table.

ya they are frail at the back, it's forgotten because of the final scoreline but Lamela missed a tap in and Soldado could have scored as well in the first 10 mins of the game a few weeks ago

Wonder if this spells the end of AVB.

Pathetic effort against a weak team and should have been a cake walk win.

The signings this off-season have been really hit and miss with the misses looking really bad (Lamela).

A cake walk win? What have Spurs done this season for you to have that expectation?

More about how crappy Liverpool is than Spurs being great this year.

I really shouldn't be surprised as Spurs have spent the season losing to teams they should easily beat but I still can get frustrated by it.

Spurs home form would suggest that you should never expect a cake walk win. Even ignoring form, any EPL game is never a cake walk win.

the high line works great with Vertonghen, Chiriches, Kaboul, Walker, Rose, etc.

with Naughton, Dawson, and Capoue moving from midfield to CB it's a disaster

I hope he doesn't get fired but I think it's 50/50 Capello/Laudrup are managing this team next weekend and not AVB

haha this is brilliant

A New York freelancer has come in for a torrent of abuse on Twitter after dozy Spurs fans mistook her for under-fire manager Andre Villas-Boas. Ashley Van Buren, who goes under the Twitter handle @avb, received a hurl of insults – and even death threats – after Spurs crashed 5-0 at home to Liverpool.

Tottenham fans – demanding the Portuguese be relieved of his duties – tagged @avb in their irate tweets, but rather than simply pointing supporters towards their ridiculous mistake, Van Buren chose to respond to each offender with a lyric from musical theatre.

Genius.

Haha! Seriously, either you've been asleep for a year, or you're bad at being a troll.
