The Penguins should trade for Staios.

I don't blame Iggy for choosing Pittsburgh nor do i blame Iginla for the whole trade situation. I blame the management for holding it off for 2 years longer than it should have happened. Those two higher end prospects from Boston would have been nice though.

Bruins have been called for about 1 of 10 interference plays.

Two teams made acceptable offers, and he decided that he'd rather play for Pittsburgh. I don't see how anyone can blame him for that unless they were looking for an excuse to blame him for something from the start.

From Iginla's perspective, he didn't do anything wrong, but as a Flames fan, that doesn't mean that I have to like it. At any rate, that's not really the point. The point is, some of us are enjoying the fact that the team that Iginla denied (which is also that was offering a better trade package) is the team that will likely knock him out of the post season.
For what it's worth, I hope that Iginla signs with another team and wins his cup next year. But I just can't cheer for the Pens as I view them as the equivalent of the Eastern Canucks.

Yea let's take away everything from Iginla, his excellent scoring touch and nose for the net, that has nothing to do with it.
Some of you have really gone off the deep end.

Who can name the last time there was an original six matchup in the finals? It's been a while.

Really? And when has that come out?
I think they asked iginla for a list of teams and then told him they would get back to him once they guaged interest. They then presented him with the Boston offer and he asked who else was in the picture. He then chose Pitt.
What they should have done was ask him for a list and get him to agree to waive for any and all of those teams on the list. Lesson learned.

Iginla until Pit met up with the Bruins has been far and away better than Jagr.

The Pens are done they just have the formality of playing 2 more games. LA who knows, with D. Sutter behind the bench anything is possible.

Iginla has looked better this period.
Penguins need a big fight or something.

For the first two rounds all the talk was how the Bruins were having a tough time playing with Jagr and now he has been better than Iginla?

Individual stats mean nothing at this time of year. It's about the team. And the Penguins are garbage right now. I could not be happier!
