Thread for concepts
Hi everyone - just wondering if folks could put new concepts / designs in this thread as it's where most of them are...

If we are going to use a logo to reflect what Calgary culture is all about now. We should have a Chinese guy, standing in front of a BMW in front of a downtown highrise condo, with skinny jeans, a white belt, Burberry plaid shoes with fur lining and a coach Murse over his shoulder.
Any of the logo shoppers up to the challenge?

?
Calgary culture would be a row of identical 2000 sq ft houses with an SUV and a pickup in each driveway.

That cowboy clipart was not meant to be used as the logo - I posted it as an example, just to carry the idea of cowboy theme a bit further.
btw. there was also the updated version with the white flaming C outlined in black and yellow

I'm thinking they went with the wordmark just to see the reaction on CP so King could shove to people who think they know better than him.

I know some people here are dead set against a black-based jersey, but I think it could look really great done correctly.

New concept
This was posted in the 3rd jersey thread - just putting it here as I think this is a more appropriate thread for it:

I love how all these "designers" keep putting stripes in places they'll never be seen once the jersey and equipment are put on. i.e. tiny thin stripes at the end of sleeves or socks.

Red looks slick, the white is a major Calgary jersey foul, as it is very similar to the Canuck's colour scheme from the 90's. Not cool man, not cool.
