Old school laces in the front too. None of the BS fake Nike laces either, legit laces.

For the record, these have been the best jersey mock-ups done in here. Those would look great, much better than those other ones that everyone keeps bumping on every page.

I'm not as sold on the red version, but that white mock up is the coolest design, real or mock up, I've ever seen for a Flames jersey. Very clean, but bold and kind of flashy at the same time.

I hate neck laces. They need to die already.
Also, they're bad luck. The 2011 Bruins are the only team to win the Cup with laces on their primary jerseys since the Rangers brought the laces back in the late 90s (that's how strong the Canucks curse really is). Prior to the Bruins, the 1973 Canadiens were the last team to win the Cup with laces on their collars.
Actually, the Bruins and the 2004 Flames are the only teams to even make the Finals with laces on a primary jersey (good thing the road jersey didn't have laces).

Well, if part of the reason you hate neck laces is because you believe in magic, then let that freak flag fly.

Well, I hate them because they're annoying and fake nostalgia for a time that didn't exist. The voodoo is just an added bonus.

You know as much as we may be clamouring for the retros I suspect we're gonna end up with something completely unexpected and potentially ugly. If look at the Flames jersey history since '95 it's really trended towards cutting edge/contemporary designs.
The Pedestal. The Horse Head. '04-'07. The current home/aways. Really throw out the retros and you've got a team that's shied away from the traditional striping patterns in most cases.
I suspect we're gonna be seeing something fresh & new more along the lines of the Sharks, Senators, Penguins, Avalanche in terms of piping/cut. Plus there's gonna be a whack of folks looking to replace their Iginla jerseys, so why not give em something new?
Hopefully it won't be as bad as some of the recent Islanders/Sabres abortions have been... but it wouldn't shock me either.

JMO that how ever the 3rd jersey looks, the primary color should remain Red. The Red jerseys worn at home games by fans, "C of Red" at a game just looks better in the stands and on TV. Then pockets of other colors. It is our identity as a franchise.
Regardless of how great a Black, Red, Yellow jersey looks as a 3rd I only purchase Red Flames Jerseys or T shirts, just saying.

Big fan of that most recent concept! Only thing I would change is the red jersey - add the black C, swap yellow and black on striping, and make the numbers black. I also wouldn't mind keeping our existing number/letter fonts, but that looks pretty good too!

Zarley's and Split98 are still by far the best Flames concept I've ever seen.

If it's a red Jersey I hope they go with a white C. I really prefer the white over the black C

Yeah, I think Split's red, and Zarley's white and third are what I'd go for. I think black has had its day, but Zarley's nostalgic adaptation does the trick.

I am not a big fan of the white part at the end of the sleeves on your concept Split. It throws off the rest of the design for me. And the socks could use a tweak, they are a little bit plain.

Bastian's concepts are absolutely flawless (maybe except of colors which seem to be a bit faded). I proposed similar concepts few month ago but didn't realize how brilliant the broad yellow stripes look on red jersey (combined with white lettering), truly fantastic work on those two.
I'd say the third black jersey should be in a similar style, perhaps introducing a cowboy theme in our alternate logo. This is the clipart I found at rivalart and my quick edited proposal for the third uniform. Note the clipart is not mine and far from being suitable for the logo (it's here just to carry the idea a bit further)
