Just saying that if i had already made 200 million and i could take a little less and load up and try to win a super bowl, i probably would. Tom Brady "struggles" by at about 17 million per year, doesnt feel the need to go for a 23 million dollar pay day like guys such as Brees...

Manning deal being reported as $18 million guaranteed in 2012. Another $40 million for '13 and '14 kicks in if he passes physical in 03-13

Hey, if the NFL doesn't work out for Mr. Tebow, there is always the CFL!

With Peyton Manning locked up in Denver, it's now about the domino effect. Tim Tebow's #CFL neg list rights owned by the Hamilton #Ticats.

Feel free to point out all the FA's that Denver is missing out on now that Manning is signed or the stud FA's that NE has brought in to help them win the SB since saint Brady signed for so "little."

It comes down to a 100 million dollar gamble to win a SB. Anything less than a SB and this deal will be noted as one of the worst in NFL history. But hey, they are building a dream team here and how can that fail? cough falcons cough

Falcons? You mean Eagles. At no point in the history of the NFL have the Atlanta Falcons been accused of trying to build a dream team to win the Superbowl. But I'm sure you knew that already.

It's not a 100 million dollar gamble, it could be construed as a 1 year, 18 million dollar gamble which would be a bargain for Manning.

I doubt anyone other than delusional people like yourself will consider it one of the worst deals in history SB or not.

Its a solid move if for nothing else it allows them to get rid of Tebow who gave them 0 percent chance of winning the SB and to move on to build a team that has a chance.

The team gave up nothing, got a top QB of all-time who still has a chance to be top 5 in the league and are a better team today than they were a week ago. How is that one of the worst deals in NFL History?

Based on the majority of his comments in this thread I wouldn't bet on it.

I am surprised he wasn't complaining about that time the Atlanta Hawks tried to buy a SB to be honest.

Not even close.

Denver was going into the season with a crappy starting QB. They've upgraded one of the most important positions in the NFL. They've protected themselves in case of injury to Manning. They will more then likely get a couple division titles and home playoff games out of this deal. As a financial investment. The Broncos will make money off this deal.

It will be disappointing if they don't win the Superbowl. Without winning a Super Bowl there is no way this even comes close to one of the worst signings in NFL history. Hyperbole at its best.

Well the first time Tamba Hali gets to him with the Tamba Hawk...that could be the site. Of course he'll be wearing one of those hideous white Bronco jerseys instead. And yes, any Denver jersey is hideous...

He'll also get up, and continue moving the ball down the field too. Just like he always has.

Stop feeding the troll in Mike Vernon. I'm fine with Tebow fans but he's not into any type of intelligent football talk.

This is a great day for football. It would have been so tragic to have him go out like that. So glad to have him back, even if it's the wrong colors

Also, the logic of if you want to Superbowl why not pay for a a 1 million dollar contract. Business simply doesn't work that way. There is precedents used for a guy like Manning for NFL quarterbacks going forward, there are people that have helped him get this far that get to see money from this. Sports don't work that way, business doesn't work that way. Peyton Manning alone raised the franchise worth of the Colts by over 256 million dollars his time there.

I never hoped an injury on anyone. The picture was on the front page of NFL.com

Tracy Porter visiting the Broncos tomorrow. Elway can sure talk, car salesman and all, but that was a great press conference. Could not be more excited to watch the Broncos play this season
