Ghost of Yotei instantly most anticipated PS5 game, Tsushima is one of my favorite games ever, period.
Man with Monster Hunter Wilds, Metroid Prime 4, Dragon Quest I & 2 HD Remake, GTAVI, and whole new Nintendo console that will undoubtedly have some must plays for me (3D Mario, Mario Kart, who knows?) 2025 is shaping up hot already.
Very excited for this one, GoT was one of my all-time favourites. I had read some random online speculation that a sequel could be a continuation of the first story, but I like the idea of a whole new story better. It should allow them to improve on the first game without trying to make improvements fit with the same characters and story lines.
Ghost of Tsushima was a beautiful game, but it got super repetitive far too quickly.
I think I made it past the first island, then when I realized it was just more of the same 3 more times I gave up.
The game was pure magic for the first half of the game but lost its luster when I realized that I was fighting the exact five same enemies the entire game, the side quests were pretty unremarkable, and chasing foxes to find the dens got old as well. It's a good first attempt at the Ubisoft open world blueprint but to me was inferior to AC Black Flag, Origins, and Odyssey so there's room to improve with the sequel.

The inspiration from Chrono Trigger is a little heavy on this trailer, especially the eras in time they chose. It looks nice visually but I hope it's not too much of a Chrono Trigger clone.

Managed to grab one of each of the 30th anniversary stuff. I really wanted the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary, but it was obviously so limited, never stood a chance. Damn Bestbuy was an absolute nightmare to try to go through. Either way, still really happy I managed to grab the other stuff, just love the look and the nostalgia.
The problem with the Switch is the controllers. The cost relative to quality is wildly disproportionate. I’m frankly blown away they didn’t work on the controllers and get them improved over the lifetime of the system.
Customers shouldn’t have to take apart your hardware and fix your #### every 6 months, let alone if you’re charging $100 for some plastic and wires.

All the consoles of this generation have quality control issues. The only one that feels priced "appropriately" this generation is the Xbox controller, but the PS5 and Switch controllers are priced the same, and really...aren't they all "plastic and wires"?
