Well, I think I am finally going to buy this game tonight or tomorrow. I guess I'll have to get some decent practice in before I try playing with you guys, its been a long time since I played a hockey game.

ironically, i deleted you like 3 days before you asked to be back on. i think i added you back to both the team and the website. send me a PM if you have any issues.
kevan - i recall you mentioning playing so we might have even sent an invite to you. let us know if you need anything. its turned into a smaller group that still actively plays, so new blood is welcome!

Alright I'll take a look. I bought the game last night and played for a couple hours. I'll probably spend a couple more days getting used to things before going online. BTW, I'm a defensive defenseman.

also, for what its worth, if you like playing D, when you play online you can still have your guy setup as what you want. i have logged hundreds of games at D as a dangler.

Right handed shot. Well, things are going well so far. 11 games done on rookie and QC are undefeated, I've got 8 g, 2 a and +15, now on the first pairing. I'll probably bump up the difficulty and then get online here. I need to get a wireless router before I do though.
edit: Woo, I got called up after 21 games. I bumped it up to pro earlier tonight too...not that anyone cares ha.

if you havent gone online with NHL '09 yet, i would highly recommend you do soon. Reason being there was a patch that was released that nerfed shot accuracy by quite a bit, so that you dont get too used to the original default

Heh, well, after I bumped it up to Pro that pretty much reversed itself. I don't think I scored since and have only been getting assists. And thanks for the heads up on the patch czure, I'll dl it tonight.

Well it has been fun boys, but I am calling it quits as of this morning. This game is like a drug, so I removed the disc from my house and will no longer be tempted by its seductive luring.
