4. Springer RF
5. Turner DH
6. Biggio/Schneider 2B

Yes it would potentially group the lefties pretty close together but Varsho and Kiermaier aren’t exactly big threats against right handed pitchers either right now.

Rumour is Springer won’t entertain conversation if being anything but the leadoff.

Yes. We’ll be seeing Francis as our number five and a lot of Mitch White this year because Manoah sounds like he is a mechanical mess. I expect we’ll see Tiedemann before we see Manoah.
The biggest warning sign from Matheson’s tweet about his start wasn’t the pitching line but this sentence:
“A lot of deliveries that didn't look the same.”
After all of the work done in the FCL last year, he’s still a disaster.

He did bat clean up for a few games last season.

Yeah. No idea why but that’s the rumour. Perhaps this season the lack of lineup gives him more leverage to push what he wants?

Could be. It was a Jeff Blair article if I recall from a couple weeks back. He’s been in tune with the team for ages.

Damn. It was almost destined to happen. Bases loaded and walked a guy, needing to get a strike. With nerves going, Stanton was waiting for it.

Walked 9th hitter was the root of all the problems. He also walked Judge and Rizzo. If you are walking Judge you have to attack everyone after no matter what or you may as well pitch to Judge. I'm not a fan of when ahead in the count throwing a ball just because which I feel they do way too often.
Rediculous though what the Yankees have Soto, Judge, Rizzo and Stanton! Must be nice to be able to spend spend spend

New order?
I’ll admit it: Blue Jays analyst Buck Martinez made me sit up a little straighter Saturday afternoon when he related a conversation with manager John Schneider in which the skipper suggested Bo Bichette might find himself hitting third or cleaning up in 2024, even though most everyone seems to agree that if all is going to plan he’ll be in his usual No. 2 spot behind George Springer — who, according to people in the know, doesn’t take kindly to even a hint he ought to move out of the lead-off spot. We know Bichette prefers consistency and he’s earned the right to say his piece. So, bear that in mind if Schneider starts fiddling around with the lineup…

Stanton I’d remove from there. Great when healthy, but never healthy.

This team just sucks. Atkins and Shapiro both should be fired for fielding a luxury tax team that is this bad.

Love/Hate for me. Love the person and the player(sometimes). Hate his approach and the crippling disappointment.

Francis start = Guaranteed loss
I might as well just start skipping them like I did with Dickey starts.

So great to see Vladdy having such a fun time out there with the opponents that are destroying his team.

Getting chances again. Just not driving in the runs. The score looks way more lopsided than this game is.

That’s the problem with having too many questionable bats. There’s a larger chance they won’t cash it in. It’s on management who won’t outright say this is a show me year.

I’m not convinced that Vladdy needed to come off of first base on the throw from Clement. He seems to have pretty bad footwork at first.
