I like that this trade opens up enough cap space to extend Kylington and Mangiapane long term without needing to dump Lucic/Monahan.

I'm not as concerned as others with him holding both past the deadline without deals. He legitimately thought Gaudreau was re-signing and Gaudreau hemmed and hawed until the last minute.
