Don't bother...he could score a hatty and some wouldn't give him credit
same with Zadorov
Both guys have been fine...the Oilers have scored on 3 bounces...2 of them on the PP
Zadorov has been keeping Kassian busy

I have to say that, even though he's slow, Gudbranson has made some sneaky good veteran plays.
He's going to get walked a lot, but if he can be a good teacher for Valimaki, I'm be happy.

Gundbradson has been a surprise, but it is also easy to look good when the puck is in the offensive zone most of the period. So hats of to the flames.

Johnny puts butts into seats.
Hard to let him go but I agree this team isn’t getting it done. Time for a change.

Lindholm, tkachuk, gaudreau, monahan. Top forwards, how many chances actually generated?

Lots of talk about the Flames not being able to finish, but let's keep in mind that it's game 1 and they have been sitting for a week.
I'm loving the effort, they just aren't connecting with their passes.

Mang is for sure our best forward. It took me a long time to appreciate how good he truly is, but he is our best forward on the ice tonight.

Tough crowd, I don't think this has been a bad first game. I think it is clear the team has more of an identity than last year.

McDingus has mainly been noticable on pp. Otherwise, I haven't heard his cringey name much.

It is so annoying though.

SN doesn't have enough creative talent to create engaging narrative on the fly.
The little they do gets milked just as much as the storylines they choose. Which is why the same 4 personalities are on literally every show they produce and they pick a select few storylines to go with and just hammer on them until it is beyond stale. They operate like a small town news org.
The real talent has moved on to other platforms (or was never on SN) where they get creative control over their own work.
