The talk out of Denver today and from the experts is that Wallace is likely not going to Denver. I do think they find a way to add another wideout though besides Stokley.

Not that I want him in Denver, but any chance T.O. gets back into the NFL this season?

So as was mentioned, Denver is expected to sign Stokley. Saturday is meeting with them in the next few days and it is expected that they will meet with Dallas Clark as well.
I wonder if Addai signs there too.
Jacob Tamme has a meeting with Seattle.

Manningmania is also defined by an abused child finding a safe home thanks to Manning's $4.3 million gift to the county. It's Manning hosting 1,000 underprivileged children at holiday parties in Indianapolis, New Orleans and Knoxville, Tenn. It's two University of Tennessee students getting full rides from his own scholarship fund.
And it's a mother at the Indianapolis Colts' Lucas Oil Stadium last season holding up a sign reading, "My Child's Life Was Saved at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital."
His work ethic will put desperate rookies to shame, and his value as a superstar will send the Broncos' franchise climbing up Forbes' most valuable teams list. But Manning's list of philanthropy glitters as much as his MVP trophies.
The Indianapolis hospital, St. Vincent Health, received such a massive, undisclosed donation from him in 2007, they renamed its children's hospital after him. His PeyBack Foundation's $4.3 million distribution included $800,000 to 147 youth organizations and $100,000 to Marion County court-appointed child-advocate programs representing abused children.

It seems pretty trivial to discuss which athlete is a better person and who really cares but it's clear Tim Tebow is not above Peyton Manning off the field at all. He's simply the most vocal about his faith and the work he does and in some peoples minds, he crams it down the throats of some and it's the reason for some of the Tebow backlash

Stokley has no knowledge of meeting with the Broncos and it sounds like they are more interested in Tamme then Clark. A lot of reports came out today, not sure I buy into them all re: ex-Colts

No one ever said that Tim was better than Peyton in a humanitarian way. Everyone including myself can agree that Manning is hands down the better qb even at 50%. Even then Peyton is better than half the qbs in the league. I'm tired of people running over tim for that reason only.

If Stokely plays this year, it will be in Denver.

Are you talking about the 7 games he won in 11 starts? Please come back at me with how many yards he threw for or how many points he got in whatever quarter or any other stat. I don't care. He won football games. He took a loser team into the playoffs.

You are seriously incapable of following along aren't you? For the second time, PIM and I are discussing his play at the University of Florida in the NCAA.

Manning signs for 5 years for 96 million total. I will say I am a tad surprised with the length just because of his injury troubles. If he stays healthy he will earn it

The Manning contract was expected to be in the 5 year/$90 million range. The 5 years is probably to spread out the cap hit, and of the money the question is how much is guaranteed vs roster bonuses vs etc,
So while the number may sound huge right now, it seems like in 90% of these contracts rarely are all the incentives hit and the total payout isn't that much.

"Pay me a ton" Manning certainly made sure he was taken care of here even if it hurts the team acquiring new talent...

So I'm guessing both you and Mike would take less money than what you could actually make from your respective employers?
